The idea for Fabric 41 was formed after the birth of my eldest daughter Lola. I was realising what an invaluable product the dribble bib was but at the time was disappointed by the limited patterns available. Over the next year I hunted high and low for interesting children’s jersey print fabric with which to make my own bibs and this in turn proved rather fruitless. The idea then became very clear and over the next year my sister Katy formulated the series of characters and designs that you now see. Our inspiration and motivation comes from our parents, a creative upbringing and from Katy's background and experience in both textiles and styling. As an A&E doctor I spend much time with colleagues with children who are looking for ways of making their daily lives easier and who want good design combined with quality products fit for purpose.
Thanks to my own children, our family and friends, we have been able to develop a large range of designs appealing to adults and children alike and a highly durable quality product that’s effective. Its tried and tested!
We wanted to support British Industries and are proud that all materials are sourced, printed and products made here in England.
